AI strategy consulting that ends in a plan you can act on.

Most AI strategy work ends in a slide deck. Ours ends in a short, written roadmap with specific projects, realistic costs, and a clear view of what's not worth doing.

Avoid spend on AI projects that won't ship.

What this service is

A focused 2–3 week engagement where we look at your business honestly and tell you where AI will pay back — and where it won't. You get a written roadmap, ranked by impact and effort, that your team can actually execute against.

It's the work that should happen before you commit budget to building anything. Done well, it stops you spending six figures on the wrong project.

Problems it solves

  • "We've been told to 'do something with AI' but don't know where to start."
  • "We've spent money on AI pilots that never made it into production."
  • "Every vendor pitches us a solution. We don't know which problem to fix first."
  • "Our data is messy — can AI even help us right now?"

Who it's for

CTOs, COOs, and operations or revenue leaders inside mid-market and enterprise organisations. Especially useful if your team has tried AI consultants before and ended up with a binder rather than a working system.

How we work

  1. Intro call — 30 minutes. We figure out fit before anything else.
  2. Discovery — 1–2 weeks of conversations with your team, a look at your data, your tools, and your real workflows.
  3. Roadmap — A short written document. Ranked opportunities, recommended first build, data and risk notes, and a "don't bother" list.
  4. Hand-off or build — You can take the plan to your in-house team, or we can deliver the first system. Both are fine.

Example outcomes

  • An operations team learns that two of their three planned AI projects should wait until they fix their CRM data — saving months of wasted build.
  • A bid team identifies proposal drafting as the highest-leverage first build, ahead of three flashier options.
  • A SaaS leadership team gets a quarterly AI plan tied to revenue goals rather than vendor categories.

Business outcomes

You stop guessing. You move from "we should be doing AI" to "here's the first thing we're shipping, here's the cost, and here's what success looks like." Internal alignment becomes much easier when there's a written, plain-English plan everyone can read.

Engagement Example

From 14 AI ideas to a 3-project roadmap with owners and budgets

  • Challenge: A leadership team had a long backlog of AI ideas and no agreed way to choose which to fund.
  • Built: A two-week strategy sprint: opportunity scoring, data and process audit, risk review, and a written board-ready roadmap.
  • Outcome: Three priority projects selected with clear scope, sequencing and budget guardrails.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an AI strategy engagement take?
Typically 2–3 weeks from kick-off to a written roadmap. We work in short loops with your team rather than disappearing for a quarter.
Do we need clean data before we start?
No. A data readiness assessment is part of the engagement. We'll tell you honestly which projects you can ship now and which need data work first.
What do we walk away with?
A short, plain-English roadmap with ranked AI opportunities, realistic cost ranges, a recommended first build, and a "don't bother" list.
Can we take the plan to our in-house team?
Yes. The roadmap is written so an internal team or another vendor can deliver against it. We can also build the first system ourselves — both routes are fine.
